Finally, an Update!

So I am sorry it has been awhile since I have last posted. I have really had some struggles with uploading pictures from Phil's new camera. So here are a whole bunch of pictures from the past two weeks. I guess we have been busy, or maybe I just have a lot to say. It could easily go either way! :)
Here is the picture of the ice cave that I promised to post like a month ago. Thank heavens it doesn't look like this now! But as you can see, at one time, it was huge. That is a 4-foot long shovel laying down.

One of Phil's classmates offered us hockey tickets to the play-offs a couple weeks ago. We had so much fun! Thanks Brent and congrats to the Sioux who won 4-0!

So at one time we actually hit 40* and the snow was melting. The ice cave fell apart and all the world was at peace, until two days later . . .

Yes, this would be the Friday before Easter and it snowed and snowed and snowed. This is Coleman ontop of the snowpile that has accumulated all winter. Note the five-foot mailbox.

And here is Phil's attempt at a snowman. It looks great now, but don't worry, five minutes after he came inside, it toppled over and fell apart. The snow here is so dry, it just can't hold a snowball.

Last Saturday the city held a huge Easter Egg Hunt at the indoor football arena. Coleman had the chance to meet the Easter Bunny!

Yeah, an Easter Egg Hunt on fake green grass! I guess we'll take what we can get! :)

Coloring Easter Eggs! Coleman just preferred to play with the extra plastic cups the whole time! He could have cared less about any eggs!

Phil holding up his two "teams". Denver Broncos and The Fighting Sioux!

Easter Morning. Coleman found a play golf set and Mickey Mouse in his basket. He has hardly put either one down since! (With the exception of when Dad takes over on the golf clubs and my living room becomes the Driving Range.)

I saw this in a magazine and thought it would be so cute. We made rice krispie treats and formed them into eggs. I thought they turned out rather cute! Thanks Phil for helping!

Darling Coleman right before church. Thanks Grammy for the Easter Outfit. He looked so adorable. We made him wear it all day!

California and Coleman

So we're back from California and had the best time! Coleman was so good on the car ride down and on the airplane (at least for what can be expected from an 18 month old!) The weather was absolutely perfect! We had sunshine and temperatures in the 70's. The lines for the rides were really short compared to other times I've been. I think we rode Pirates of the Caribbean four times and never waited longer than five minutes. The beach was a blast too! Coleman and Phil loved chasing the waves in and out and don't even get me started on Coleman playing in the sand. He was in heaven! I'll add pictures of our trip soon. One of my souvenirs was a Disneyland scrap booking kit. I'll have to copy the pages onto here when I finish them!

Well Coleman was tagged by Grace Bitton and I thought this was cute, and easy to do, so here you go:

8 Things About Coleman
1. He loves, and I mean LOVES animals.
2. He first laughed the third night he was home from the hospital. It was 3 am and I was rocking him to sleep and he just started laughing. I will never forget that moment!
3. He absolutely hates getting his nails clipped. It doesn't matter if it is fingers or toes
4. His security item is his Sippy Cup. He drinks 5-6 full sippy cups every day.
5. He is very social and loves giving other kids hugs
6. He is fascinated by belly buttons and wants to look at every ones
7. His first word was "uh, oh" and he has used it constantly over the past six months
8. And he can do the world's best "running man" dance moves!

Coleman will now tag Cali Giles, Dawson Jardine, Elizabeth Pierson, Kaylee Tingey, and Jake Wood

So yesterday, we made a last minute decision and decided to leave this morning instead of tomorrow morning for Minneapolis to fly to Disneyland. We got here this afternoon, and decided to go check out the Mall of America. It was so fun to see. There was every store imaginable in there plus multiple food courts, the huge amusement park in the center, and the underwater aquarium. Oh and don't forget about the movie theater. It was incredible! We had so much fun watching all the different people shopping there. Anyway, hope you enjoy our pics. I need to head to bed now so we can get to the airport at a decent time tomorrow!

Does it ever STOP????

Three out of the past four mornings, we have woken up to wild snow storms. Okay, they haven't been as bad as others, but they seem just awful since I am so ready for spring. I haven't seen grass since before Thanksgiving. Last weekend, the weather was so nice and the roads were wet, which meant the snow was starting to melt, but now, it just keeps snowing. I am going crazy! Phil keeps mentioning staying here in North Dakota after he finishes school, but that just isn't going to happen. These winters are never ending! I guess everyone is starting to feel like that, though (except Ashley enjoying the sunshine in Israel)!

We have more pictures of the ice cave, but I don't know how to work Phil's new camera so you'll have to wait to see how huge it is until next week! Oh, by the way, Happy Leap Day!

Tag

I, like Amie, was tagged twice, actually I was tagged three times, (one of these I was tagged twice) so to all who tagged me, here you go!

10 years ago: I was in 8th grade at American Fork Jr. High. I don't think I was doing anything of interest at the time. Just hanging out with friends!

5 things on my to-do list today: Seeing how it is 10:30 p.m. my to-do list is finished, even if I didn't accomplish everything! Tomorrows includes embellishing my cards for our little G.F. card club, because I decided I didn't like them. Picking up my messy house, go shopping for our upcoming Disneyland trip (a swimsuit for Phil and a leash for Coleman) and then whatever else happens to come along!

5 snacks I enjoy:
1-Chips and Salsa or just a bag of potato chips would do!
2-Cookies/brownies
3-Yogurt
4-Hot Chocolate
5-String Cheese

What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: Tithing would come first. Probably pay off Phil's school loans, purchase a new car. Invest most of it. Buy land in Hibbard, Idaho. Purchase a cabin in the Island Park area, give some to family, and then probably go shopping!

5 places I have lived:
1-American Fork, UT
2-Rexburg, ID
3-Laie, HI
4-Boise, ID
5-Grand Forks, ND

5 jobs I have had:
1-Cleaning Dad's Office
2-Working for Temp Service
3-Telemarketer
4-Manager at Help-U-Mail & Copy
5-Millhollow Frozen Yogurt

5 things you don't know about me:
1-I am left handed
2-I am a huge people-watcher. Phil says he can't go anywhere with me and have a decent conversation because all I do is watch everyone else.
3-I can't stand it when the bed doesn't get made every day
4-One of my life goals is to visit Tahiti
5-I hate excersize (like push-ups, sit-ups, excersize equipment, etc.) I would much rather go ride a bike outside.
So now I tag Amber, Ashley, Heather, Holly & Abby

AND...Husband Tag:

What is his name: Phillip Kyle Roylance
How long have you been married: Almost 3 years
How long did you date: We dated from the mid July 2004 then he proposed on Christmas day of 2004, and we were married April 1, 2005
How old is he: He just turned 28 in December
Who eats more: Phil usually does. Occasionally I can chow down more than him
Who said I love you first: I brought up the subject, but Phil actually said it first
Who is smarter: That would definitely be Phil
Who does the laundry: I was, but then I got pregnant and really tired and Phil took over. It is his way of helping out around the house-so he says!
Who folds the laundry: Phil folds everything except Coleman's clothes and the whites because that is usually the last load to be done and gets left in the dryer unless I fold them!
Who does the dishes: It depends, if Phil makes the meal, I do, but if I cook, Phil usually cleans up!
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: I do, unless we are sharing like a hotel room with someone, then I have to be on the outside edge (next to the wall or window). If I wake up and someone is facing me and I turn around, and the other person is facing me, I get so causterphobic.
Who pays the bills: It began with Phil, and then I took over the budget, but when it came to the bills, I supposedly wasn't paying them fast enough, so now Phil does again!
Who cooks dinner: I would say I make it 5 out of the 7 days of the week. Phil definitely helps!Who drives when you're together: Always Phil
Who is more stubborn: That is a definite competition in our marriage! It depends on what it is.
Who proposed: Phil did it all!
Who has more friends: I would have to say me.
Who wears the pants in the family: We have argued this point, but I think Phil won.
