In the beginning of March, Isabella was blessed. We had so much family come and join us for the occasion, and we had a wonderful weekend with all of them!
We started off meeting for dinner at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. Afterward, everyone headed to our house to hang out and munch on Chocolate Chip Cookies before heading to their hotels. On Saturday, we headed to Olive Garden for a nice lunch. It was kind of crazy stuffing all of us into one of the back rooms, but lots of fun too!
I'm so jealous of everyone's big nice cameras! Look at these pictures!
We all headed to the movie theater after lunch and those of us with kids went and saw "Rango".
That night we met up at the Hilton Garden Inn for a pizza party and swimming. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of dinner. Sorry!
On Sunday morning, we hosted a little luncheon before church. We had sandwiches, chips, salads, fruit, bread, drinks, and cupcakes for dessert. I had a lot of fun experimenting with the cupcakes. I made Red Velvet cupcakes (just because they are one of my favorites!), and I made some Vanilla cupcakes with pink butterfly and heart shaped centers. They didn't work out as well as I had planned, but I know what to do next time! And yes, much to Phil's dismay, there will be a next time! (Apparently they are too messy!) I got the idea from
HERE.
My mom and sister helped me get Isabella ready. We talked about how this was her first White dress. Next will be her baptism, and third will be her wedding. It may sound cheesy, but I was a bit sensitive! :)
We hurried and took some pictures with family before heading to Church, but Isabella was hungry, and therefore, not very cooperative! Oh Well!
Thank you, thank you to all the family that came to supports us, and we missed all the ones that couldn't make it! We love you all!
And I especially wanted Phil to know how much I love him, and admire him for upholding his Priesthood so that he could be the one to bless all of our children. Isabella's blessing was so sweet!
