Phil has been threatening to blog again because I guess I am not posting fast enough. Not that I mind him blogging, but I just don't want him taking over! (You can post the next one sweetheart!) :)
So we have been super busy this week. Over the past few weeks, I started to have a nervous break down that we weren't ready for this next baby to come in any way, shape, or form. I made three different lists of things that we needed to do before he arrived. I started just spinning in circles attempting at accomplishing "the lists"! However, I needed my sweet husband to take control and point me in a straight direction, reminding me to just take it one at a time! We now have moved the computer downstairs, turned the loft into a mini nursery, gotten Coleman out of the crib, and bought a very nice recliner that we will pick up in two to three weeks! Wow! Now Phil is encouraging me to work on my own personal list of projects to finish before the baby comes. One of these was finishing the denim quilt that I began like three months ago. I still need to finish pillows, curtains, and the bed skirt to match. But I am so proud of how the quilt turned out. (Thanks Mom for helping me quilt it and sew the end in!) Here are some pictures:
Remember that I still need to add a few details, but it was a big project that is nearly finished. The next room on the list is Coleman's. We are going to do Trains with denim, red, and black. What do you think?

Megan - your quilt turned out super cute! I love the polkadots. Is it just a sheet or did you find fabric like that? I used sheets once to make a quilt and I loved the way it turned out. I can't wait to see the curtains and pillows. I love the train idea for Coleman. He'll love it too! How's the getting Coleman out of the crib going? Is he sleeping in the bed ok? Hope you are surviving the stress of pregnancy! Life will get easier once he's hear...atleast for the first couple months until he starts moving and staying awake longer. Good luck with all your projects. Love ya!
It looks really good. You have so many talents! I need to live by you so you can teach me how to do all of these cool things. I can't wait to see your little guy and hear his name. Cole and I aren't really into picking names but I think that will change once we know what our babies gender is in a few weeks. Hope you are feeling well and taking it easy.
Hi! This is Lauren, Megan's old roommate. I found your blog on Sheena's. You have such a cute family. I am glad you are doing well. Cute quilt!! Check out my blog: http://laurensteachertales.blogspot.com/
If you need anything just let me know. I can take Coleman for a couple of hours if you need some time to get things finished, to run errands, or just for some alone time, I am more then willing.
Megan - It looks awesome on your bed, especially with how big it is...I'm so impressed. I've been waiting for a new post from you. :) I hope you're feeling more ready for the baby. I CAN'T WAIT to see him!! I think you need to post a whole bunch of pictures of your house (like mom did) so I can see what you mean by "the loft" and I want to see your living room/kitchen, too! Love ya!
Meg, you got it done! Way to go girl. It looks great on your bed. That was the biggest quilt I ever did see or worked on. What a good accomplishment. It will be a part of your family posessions for years and years to come. I can tell your at the end of your pregnancy because your in the "nesting" mode. Everything will be just wonderful and I can't wait for my turn to hold onto that sweet little nameless baby.
You are such an awesome mom! Love the quilt. Coleman's room will be so cute.
Megan - your baby countdown isn't right, is it? I just noticed it says only 11 days. Did your doctor change your due date? If it's true, no wonder you're nesting... :)
Wow! I saved old jeans for years thinking I would make one like that - I finally gave up and bought Jake's online! It looks great, you are so talented! Coleman's room sounds like it will be cute too...
